Welcome! Lots of new things to introduce. First of all, my new website! Bravo, high fives, praise & kudos to Allison Hull of Legacy Art Management for tirelessly helping me digitally organize years of work into the software program ArtCloud and designing the new website. Artcloud is daunting and exciting all at the same time. So far Allison/we have inventoried and categorized over 2000 images into archives. This began in January, snowing outside and us art birds bundled up in my kitchen office with coffee (or wine!). We haven't even scratched the surface. Whew! 35 years worth of art images, y'all. Kind of unnerving.
A little background is in order. Allison became the gallery director at Hagan Fine Art in Charleston, SC, shortly after I joined the gallery in the early days of 2012. As my sales and relationship grew with Karen Hewitt Hagan, gallery owner & artist extraordinaire, so did my friendship and sales with Allison. We had many sales of my pieces over the near decade of working together there. Fast forward to Allison relocating to Western North Carolina and starting her new consulting business helping artists with, as she says, 'the business behind the art.'
I'm thrilled to work with her again to launch not only my website but the beginning of a new concept.
A message from Allison:
When you put two Louisiana girls together, you can count on a whole lot of creativity, collaboration, and laughter. From the very beginning, Amy and I clicked—we became fast friends and an even better team, pairing her joyful artwork with collectors who instantly connected with it.
I’m thrilled to be reigniting our working relationship, this time with fresh energy and focus. Our goal? To grow her art business and elevate her online presence in a way that truly reflects the beauty, passion, and spirit behind her work.
F.A.I.T.H.
Food • Art • Inspiration • Travel • Humor
Yes, faith has a spiritual aspect to the meaning of the word and this is perfect because my acronym touches the scope of my true passions and in no order. They intertwine, overlap, expand with no boundaries and raise the vibration of energy that is never ending (thank Gawd!)! Join me (and Allison) in this venture towards new approaches & innovative ideas as I share how I see the world. Buckle up, wink wink!
ART is the obvious, but FOOD ranks high! Anyone who knows me knows my curiosity and love of good food, whether cooking or TRAVELING.. Going to college in New Orleans and the culinary feast of this city was the second foundation. The first foundation was a family of damn good cooks! “Mo butta da betta!” my dad used to say. With HUMOR! INSPIRATION is everywhere. TRAVELING, creating ART and the joy of good FOOD…you might say that I’m a junkie of sorts. Ha! With a robust ongoing bucket list and 14 countries so far, at 66, I’m just getting started. Bored? Me? Never!! WELCOME & follow me as the journey continues.
